Welcome to the Lung Cancer Screening Study

The University of California Lung Cancer Screening Study focuses on understanding the attitudes and beliefs of both patients and physicians regarding lung cancer screening. Our study is funded by the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program and is housed in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF.

Recently, we launched a survey of primary care physicians. Our goal is to understand physicians’ knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and perceived barriers to discussing and referring their patients to lung cancer screening.

If you are a physician who received an email or letter inviting you to participate, please click this link UCSF Lung Cancer Screening Survey to complete the survey. Your responses are very important to us.
